- I am the Song, your Life, who gave, and continues to give you, a chance to earn a decent Royalty. Thou shalt continue to write and serve Me.
- Thou shalt have ownership of every Song you create and earn Royalty from it.
- Thou shalt have your Song registered for copyright protection at the National Library.
- Remember to take home every Contract before signing it. Seek ye first the advice of thy Lawyer or Someone With Expertise (i.e M2K).
- Thou shalt honor where your Song came from. If more than Eight Bars of your Song came from another Song, then you must seek a License for the use of that Song.
- Thou shalt not alter another Song by adding lyrics and tunes without first seeking a License for it.
- Thou shalt not commit your Song to more than one Licensor so that your Publisher shalt not be confused about where to remit your Royalty.
- Thou shalt not steal a Song from another, claim it as your own and use it without the Songwriter’s knowledge.
- Thou shalt not bear false witness against your fellow Songwriter
- Thou shalt not let any Entity covet the publishing rights of your Song for life.
